Our retrofitted SBR to nrPUR Membrane BioReactor (MBR) System in St. Kitts

Our nrPUR MBR installed in 2019 on St. Kitts is still producing high quality reuse water for the University. The project which retrofitted a SBR at the end of its useful life and converted it to the more advanced nrPUR Membrane BioReactor (MBR) system, was able to increase the daily capacity (up to 40,000 GPD) and reuse the site’s existing concrete tankage. This allowed the client to achieve reuse quality without increasing the existing footprint and minimize CAPEX. Often the least expensive source of reuse water is to upgrade legacy system to take advantage of modern technologies and solutions.
